Charcoal is a product of roasting without air access of plant waste (pyrolysis method). It is loose carbon impregnated with resins. The removal of gum releases a huge surface of the pores inside the coal. Coal becomes activated, a sorbent, capable of thinly filtering liquids and gases. Such sorbent at the price considerably exceeds the cost of charcoal [1]. Typically, superheated steam with a temperature of about 1000 degrees Celsius is used for activating. This is very costly. The bypass technology offered by this project is actual. It allows to do without high technical costs at the same quality product. This technology has been successfully implemented on a pilot plant.

The project provides the basis for the manufacturing business as a sorbent, and other pyrolysis products, which are listed below [2].

On the market, there are stationary complexes of pyrolysis to waste management. The following products are formed during pyrolysis:

- Combustible gas (up to 45% by weight of raw materials). It is used to maintain the pyrolysis temperature and as a fuel for external consumption(at least half of the total amount of gas);

- Liquid hydrocarbon fuel, similar to fuel oil(up to 35% by weight of raw materials);

- Watery fraction containing aldehydes, acids, resins (up to 20% by weight of raw materials). Applicable as decontamination agent and preservative in veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, Smoking ("liquid smoke") and wood rotting treatment;

- Charcoal (up to 10% by weight of raw materials). A valuable product in the production of beverages and other food liquids, filters and many other industrial products.
